MouseExtender is a program launcher for windows that has a sleek design which lets to launch programs with one click of the mouse. It is fully customizable program that provides a way to increase productivity.mouse
This software lets you add shortcuts for any application to be launched, therefore it can be a good alternative to hotkeys. It also lets you to organize your favorites application launchers with tabs. For example, you can group all those multimedia apps under one tab, office apps, photo editing apps in separate tabs. This helps you organize those shortcuts effectively.

By default, MouseExtender is triggered by clicking the middle mouse button but you can configure it to any mouse button or keyboard combo you want. If you need your middle mouse button for other things then you can exclude Mouse Extender which means that this button takes back its regular function when those programs are active.
Invoking MouseExtender brings up a window thus letting to add programs, files, folders or URLs to for easy access. You can do this either by dragging and dropping shortcuts into the window (though you need to “pin” the window by clicking the pin icon in the corner to do this) or by right-clicking on the gear icon and adding programs from your hard drive or from a list of currently running programs.

Some notable features of MouseExtender are :

- You can group items with Tabs in order to organise them.
- Add a program, web address, folder, file to Mouse extender for a quick launch.
- Shutdown/sleep/hibernate with timer.

I have a mouse with 3 boutons and i use them already… but thanks, I will maybe buy a new one !
It don’t make any difference Jean. Since, you use the middle button, you can define a combo in Mouse Extender, like Right and left click at a time etc. No need to but a new one lol.
