This is a very ambitious project by an ambitious technology company. Making internet affordable to everyone is a great idea. But, what does it mean to a private company like Google? According to me, this will create more opportunities for Google :

• Bringing more people to internet, means more audience to serve ads, hence Google can generate income from it. It’s a win-win situation for people and Google, as people will get affordable internet and Google can leverage on it.
• They can even become a mobile carrier if they succeed in transferring data using balloons.

On installation of Looper extension a new button will be created naming Loop that sits beside the ratings thumbs. This loop button will allow you to replay the video numerous times, in case you want to rerun only a specific portion of the video then you can make use of the slider to set the start time and end time so that only that part of the video will be played continuously. But, one drawback with Opera Turbo is that you don’t have much to configure. Especially, if you want to exclude specific websites from Opera Turbo. Because, Opera will route all your traffic through opera servers to compress data, but if you are on a website that uses HTTPS protocol, then Opera Turbo will be turned off automatically, so that your confidential data won’t pass through Opera servers. But, what if we face a situation where we must give our credentials and the website isn’t using HTTPS protocol. Then the password will be transferred through Opera servers, putting your confidential data at risk.

So, I opened settings of Opera Turbo to check if there is a way to exclude websites from Opera Turbo, but was disappointed to see that there is no such option. I can either turn it ON or OFF completely, but not the way I wanted. But, after digging through the configurations of Opera, I found a way to do that and here is how.

1. Type “opera:config” in address bar and hit enter. It takes you to Opera Preferences editor.
2. In the search bar, type “turbo”. Under Proxy category you’ll find a setting called “Opera Turbo bypass URLs”.
3. Add the URLs of the websites for which you want to bypass Opera Turbo.
4. Then click on Save and restart the browser to apply the changes.

I’m seeing this error for the first time. I thought it was due to Windows firewall, so I checked it, but it was turned off. So, I started to search Google for a possible solution and after a while I found a hint. The error is because of Internet Explorer. In, Internet Explorer all websites are categorized into various kinds and if the website from where you downloaded the file is categorized as Restricted, then you’ll face the above security error. Usually it is safe, not to run such files. But, if you know that the file is safe and won’t do any harm, then follow the steps below to run the file.

Follow the steps as depicted

1. Open Internet Options of Internet Explorer. Then browse to Security tab.
2. Now click on Restricted sites icon and then click on Custom Level.
3. Then a new window will open where all settings are listed according to their categories. Now, under Miscellaneous category there is an option called “Launching Applications and Unsafe files”. Now, change the setting from “Disable” to “Prompt”.
4. Now click OK and close Internet Explorer.

That’s it. Now run the file and it’ll execute without any issues. After finishing the work with that file, make sure to restore Internet Options to defaults.
